All I can say is WOW! This thing is crazy! I just used it to air up the tires in my buddies car. It went from 30psi to 50psi in about 30 seconds. Unreal! This thing kills the Viair 300p a buddy of mine has, and with their out of business sale I paid about a quarter of his Viair! I am going to do some research and see if I can find someone else selling these for you guys.

Now, the reason it went so high without me knowing. The hose has a gauge on it, and that gauge is broken. Only negative to the device, and with Overland Warehouse out of business I am more than likely **** outta luck. Hopefully I can find a replacement.

Yeah, it works well. It replaces my Viar 400p and I like the OW compressor better -- even forgetting the price difference which was substantial even at the full price I paid. I prefer the threaded chuck, for one thing, not to mention the extra power.

Since OW is out of business, I'll mention that I could have sworn I saw what appeared to be the same compressor in a Harbor Freight mailer a few weeks back. I got distracted and never looked at the mailer again and I don't see it online, but that's one place I'd keep an eye out.

Smittybuilt has a compressor that looks identical (#2781).

So Andries and OW came through and are sending me a replacement hose. Reading all the negatives about GOBI and other vendors here, it really sucks to have lost one that did so much for the community and genuinely cares for their customers :(

I was also informed that while that Smittybilt looks the same (outside of being black), it isn't. The OW Heavy Duty is rated at 160L/min, while that Smittybilt is rated at 72L/min. Wow :wow:

Air Compressors - Smittybilt

Based on Smittybilts website, the 2781 is 5.65 cfm or 160 Lpm, the 2780 is the lower rated compressor, just an FYI for people searching.

Good to hear OW is taking care of you even after they closed. Even buying a new hose would not be horrible when the sale price on that compressor was $60.
 
Used my OW HD compressor last night, it was fast going from 32 to 40 psi.

It was relatively quite too.

The gauge worked fine on mine, I may replace it with a gauge that has a 0-60 psi range instead of 0-150, since I don't see myself going to 150 on anything.

I will post back with a gauge part number if I end up going that route.
