Intruder just informed me of OW's close-out .. very disappointing. Andries and Mark set the bar very high with quality of product and exemplary customer service. I wish both Andries and Mark the very best with whatever next is in the cards for them.

So, any entrepreneurs here who'd be willing to take over a well-established 4Runner suspension firm? I wonder if anyone has approached Andries or Mark to carry the business forward?

I wonder what the real reason is that they closed up shop. I would love to pick up where they left off if it were economically feasible. Probably hard to turn a profit when you are so specific in your targeted market.

Honestly there are not that many reasons businesses go under. The reason will not be that they were making too much money and getting along famously.

Somewhere it was said "for personal reasons" so......

A number of things happened that severely will limit our ability to provide the customer service we want to provide. That is the main reason why we will not be able to continue the operation and we decided to rather end the process in a graceful way than simply disappear in the night.

Radflo has been a very reputable company, and will continue to stand behind their products.

Overland Warehouse was excellent for service, and the owners really knew how to cater to their clientele's needs. Their suspension kit was manufactured by Radflo per their design specs. Of course Radflo who is still in business.

I don't believe there were any patent involved, it was just a matter of customizing parts Radflo already used or had the availability for. Consequently you'd would think Radflo would at least consider making up a suspension set per the original specs used by OV.

I remember Andre mentioned to me they had their valving specifically designed for the 4th gen application. But I could be wrong, its been too long since I wheeled with the guy. Shame they had to close OLW, I love my 2.5" kit.

Metaltech, Toytec and pretty much every Radflo vendor sell them brand new with OW valving.
