Long time lurker, first time poster. I've read quite a few tire and lift threads, and tried my best not to bug you guys, but I'm wanting to throw some new tires on my wife's 2011 SR5 (bone stock) this weekend. Wife uses it 95% as a kid hauler around town but we do go up in the hills once in a while camping, I'm looking at the Michelin LTX AT2's.
I like the look of a little bigger wider tire and was wondering if I need to get minimal leveling kit or lift kit and can go up to 270 in size? I would love a little taller tougher stance with maybe an inch or two lift, with a little beefier looking tire. Would appreciate any input on what you think I can easily get done at my local shop, and anything else to keep in mind. If anything rubs or doesn't perform as well my wife will spank me so I don't want to screw it up.
