OP, have you seen the OEM Toyota color Spruce Mica? It's a sweet shade of green that came out on the 2012 Tacomas. Just another option.

Flat black or Flat silver/gray with the elusive rattle can method..:naughty: Cheap, Effective, and y ou have more money to do with whatever your little heart desires..

How about Sunfire Red Pearl?
This thing looks BA!

I just posted in your build thread as well, but figured I'd post here too. SRP is an awesome color and 4runit's 4runner is what turned me onto the color in the first place. Honestly though, if you are going to pay all the money to paint your 4runner you might as well go with an uncommon color. It will look good SRP, but there are plenty of 4runners with that color. I say a deep blue or a gunmetal gray. Something that people don't see ever and would turn heads.

Pretty big update. I dropped it off this morning. It will be painted Magnetic Gray. Should be pretty sweet. I'm pretty excited.

Here are some pictures of when I dropped it off.

Yes to Sunfire Red.

Who really gives a crap about inside the hood and the door jams?

The truck is 15 years old, no offense but lets be realistic here. Get the most bad ass paint job you can so you enjoy the most out of it for the next several years through HS and hopefully college.

If you had only 75k miles then i would say stay stock but if I repainted my truck tomorrow i would probably do it sunfire red just like the picture.

I've gone to the toyota dealer 4 times this week just to look at Magnetic Gray. Everytime I see it, I like it even more.

I'm happy with my choice.

My truck is also Evergreen Pearl, and it happens that would have been my first choice of colors. My clear coat is gone on my hood and on the top of my front fenders. I am waiting to get some extra money to get the front painted the same color. I think it looks great with Taupe/beige/tan interior! Post some photos when it's done...

We almost have identical trucks.

1996 4Runner

Evergreen Pearl

V6

5-Speed

and around 160k miles.

Weird :jaw drop:

Whats the cost estimate for that?

Bad ass, dude!

I hope you post some behind the scenes bodyshop photos! Paint work is just so fascinating.

Deja Vu, member kolbydmc also had an Evergreen truck with fade like yours. He repainted his, too. It's really cool seeing some custom colors on 3rd gens.

Hope you love it, enjoy.

If the door jams and under hood don't get painted, tape them off and rattle can them black and call it a day.

I'm looking forward to the end result.

You are going Magnetic Gray, gloss or matte clear?
