Painting my center caps

I'm about to paint my wheels black. I have a green (jade mica or whatever) runner. I plan on painting the center caps black too, but anyone have suggestions on what to do for the Toyota logo in the center? I guess I could do it black too, but I have seen a few with red as well.

Anyone have photos of theirs or any ideas?

Mine are black... I think it would look cool to leave them silver to contrast they black like the stock lugs do.

I think the red toyota emblems on black would look cool thats what I plan on doing if I ever get a chance where im not driving the truck for a day ... green would also be a neat idea but I think it would be too subtle to even notice

i have an 01 jade mica as well, and a while back i blacked the whole wheel minus the lugs, but then they got pretty beat up when i went roading. so i scrapped it all off and only blacked the center cap, got a razor blade and cut the toyota logo out so it had the chrome finish to match the rest of the rim, really cool look and have never seen anyone else on the forum do it.

I'm gonna paint my wheels with Rustoleum Graphite paint and clear soon. I plan to get some Testors Model Enamel and experiment with some different colors. I'm thinking Silver is going to give me the most contrast against the graphite wheels.

I suggest you use automotive spray paint.

Rustolium from Home Depot is not automotive grade paint and it will fade fast.

I plan to use this stuff here, says it is designed for wheels. I have had good luck with Rustoleum on many other projects, so I think I will take a chance on the wheels.

i'm bitter about my cheap faded paint.

thats why I finally caved and had them powder coated.

I now use Trim Black Satin with a coat of gloss. Napa sells auto paint as well.
