I do not set the 'door alarm' when in the garage. So I woke up this morning at 5:00 am to the 'Panic Alarm"? Keys were on the kitchen counter. Low battery in the remote?? did not find much on a serach. ideas?

What are other causes of a false alarm on our trucks? or just disconnect the main battery for 15 minutes?

I'm sure the 27 degrees outside doesn't help.

I'm 100% POSITIVE that the temp has NOTHING to do with it. If it did...then every 4runner owner here in the North would have problems all winter long. We're having a very mild fall right now..but most years..this time of year..the highs are around 27 degrees.

this is the second time it has gone off. Not much in the manual or RS3200+ guide. Search on 2 Toyota forums has not turned up much. Light snow fall outside. I will meter the remote, doubt if I have a 2016 around for it. fun times (at 5:00 in the morning).

Well, 3.09VDC on the remote I was using, 3.29VDC on my spare remote. So off to get a new battery for it. hope that is it.
