Park City UT areas to ride?

Hey guys I'm flying out to park city next month and while searching for things to do on the few days I'm not skiing I found a place renting jeeps and other 4wds. Are Any of you familiar with the area and know of some scenic semi difficult trails or places to see that would make it worth the money to rent a jeep and explore for a day or 2?

Scenic and semi-difficult trails I can think of near Park City, I think will still be inaccessible due to the snowpack.

Maybe head down to Moab for a couple days? In fact, I'd recommend Moab anyway, as the terrain there is unlike anything you will find anywhere else.

Thanks! I don't know why I didn't think of Moab! It's a 4 hr drive so I'm definitely going to look Into it! Just have to sell the girlfriend on it! Anyone know of good companies to rent from that will steer experienced drivers to some fun areas and not just the easy trails?

I rented a Jeep from Farabee's in Moab once, in the late '90's. I think they just recommended easy trails back then. I still drove over Poison Spider trail, and a few other trails.

Some stair steps were a bit of a challenge as I recall. :biggrin1:

I'd try Googling Jeep rental in Moab, and see what comes up.

I'm sure there are members here more familiar with current rental options, that will maybe chime in.
