What's up fellas,
I am having a problem with my parking brake on my 93. The problem I'm having is I can't get the lever inside the truck to release the parking brake cable. I am able to pull the lever and disengage it but it appears the cable is tangled on the pulley or somewhere along the inside of the cabin and won't release the rear tires to turn. A buddy stated his sisters 4runner a 1st gen did the same thing and he grabbed the cable with a plier and it released. My thought was to try that or get under the truck and rlelase it somehow by diconnecting the cable. Any thoughts? My buddies are wheeeling this weekend and it would be nice to take the runner. I also own a tacoma and wheel that too and that is what all these guys will be driving so it would be nice to show up in the runner and show em what a sputty runner can do:roadkill:. any help is much appreciated.
