Part id help?

I was removing my intake today to get at the fuel rail/fuel pulsation dampener (which was pissing fuel) and I broke one of the hose leads off of this green part.

Any help IDing it greatly appreciated

whats is it threaded in to

I assume it's a V6.

It looks like a vacuum switch.

That is a thermo vacum switch, it has a preset tempeture to open and let vacum thru.
