Ive been looking at this all day, called toyota and still have no clue. So i turn to all you 4runner masters here on the forum.

Im looking for the O2 sensor for my 4runner. Its a 1999 2.7L 4 cyl 2WD California emissions. Only has one cat tho.

i looked on the forum here and couldnt find much. I am buy Denso and URD tells me i need part number 234-4622. While comparing toyotas part number to denso (via densos website) gives me 234-4161. I also called NAPA auto parts and they gave me a different number!

Im very confused to say the least. Anyone have any ideas???

1999 & 2000 California auto 2WD/4WD L4-2.7; Front = 234-9002
1999 & 2000 California auto 2WD*L4-2.7; Rear = 234-4622

I don't think the 4161 will fit. Pretty sure that's for an older 4runner, but I could be wrong.

If you look at the picture you do NOT have a cali emissions truck IF YOU LOOK TO THE RIGHT yours says 50 state emissions. that is different my brother has a cali state ill post a picture showing the vin explosion similar to this first one

THE PART NUMBER FOR THE FRONT O2 Sensor is 89465-39735. The REAR sensor is 89465-39825. Those are factory part numbers

As you can see the second picture is my brothers truck and it says california emissions.

Listen to that guy ^

I plugged in your VIN and your truck shows that it's a 50 state vehicle, not a California emissions vehicle and his provided part numbers are correct.
