Part out, Price help..

I have a 1986 4 runner that was hit in the front and rolled over.

I would like to sell it as a whole but it seems that a lot of people are asking for parts. Parting it out would mean that I would have to get the parts sold then get a weekend to gut the truck. Before I do that I would like to know if it's even worth it. I was wondering if I could get some help on pricing. I would also like to avoid any shipping by selling locally.
Here the parts I would like to get sold before gutting it. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys can help me out with pricing. Thank you in advance.

Here are the Specs of the truck:
I bought the truck a year ago in Southern California, it had just been repainted so no rust as it only saw snow once.

Engine:
2.4 22RE Engine was rebuilt right before I bought it. It has a little over 15,000 miles on it. Unfortunately I was not provided with any paperwork.

Tires and Wheels:

After market 16" chrome wheels
235/70/16 Bf Goodrich all-terrain tires basically brand new about same mileage as the engine

Transmission:
Automatic Trans rebuilt with the engine

Rear End:
All stock

Rear Suspension:

Leaf Springs- New (15)
Shocks-New (15k)

Front suspension:
Shocks (New)

Body:
Passenger Door
Tailgate with window
Rear Bumper-has a dent on left side (Chrome)

I may be interested in the entire truck... I need a donor. shipping to TX would be about 700-900 bucks, but if you dont want a fortune for your truck it may be doable.

I need the tranny, Computer, ECM and wire harness.

Prices may be different where you are, I can just tell you what I see stuff going for here.

Engine: An unknown engine from a wrecked truck is probably worth $250-$350, maybe more if the buyer can hear it run before you pull it.

Tires and Wheels: You might get $400-$450 for the tires and wheels, if you wait for the right buyer.

Transmission: $50-$100, if you can find a buyer at all. These last forever, and when they do go guys like to switch to manuals, so there's not a lot of demand.

Rear End: Your rear third is worth $100, plus or minus. The rear axle, complete with shafts and brakes, another $100. Your front differential is actually worth a bit more if you're willing to ship it - there's no source of aftermarket 4.30 ring and pinion and they're $700 new, so you could probably find a buyer in the $200-$300 range. Remember that shipping the thing will run another $75, so price accordingly.

Rear Suspension: For new springs, you might get $50? That's a maybe. What you can get for the shocks depends entirely on what they are.

Body parts tend to go from $10-$50, unless they're in really good shape. Maybe $100 for a complete tailgate if it's not dinged or rusted. Doors could be $20 to $50 each, depending on condition. You might get $50 for the cap. Any interior trim that's in very good shape is worth listing, especially if you have an uncracked dash pad ($100+), SR5 gauge cluster ($100+), or a factory clinometer ($200+).

You didn't ask, but if your engine harness is uncut and in good shape, it's worth at least $50. The driveshafts are worth $20 each, so are the CVs if they're in good shape. If your truck had manual hubs, the pair of those goes for $50-$100. You might get $20-50 each for the seats, depending on condition. You might get a buyer for the seat belts as well, figure $20. The ECU could be worth $50 if you can find a buyer. I've seen 2nd and 3rd gen guys pay as much as $200 for the roll bar, which is just silly, but $50 is probably not unreasonable. Your catalytic converter is worth scrap money at the local recycler, but call them first because some of them have weird rules about accepting cats because of the theft problems.

There's a lot of money in that truck if you're willing to part it out, and if you're willing to spread your net wide to find buyers (that means shipping). Obviously these prices are just from what I see in my area and what I was able to charge when I parted my own '86 out, your market will be different. One thing I learned is DO NOT just throw out an ad saying "I'm parting a truck, what do you want?" That way leads to chaos and frustration and lots of people telling you they want a part until you've pulled it and cleaned it and then they back out. I would strip the truck down first, organize everything you're going to try to sell, and then list them item by item with clear pictures.

Prices all depend on where you are located. Over here in the PNW, the value of these parts are crazy high compared to most places.

Can I at least have first shot at the engine and transmission, and even the ECU and harness? that will make you a good chunk of change right there.
