No question about it, I preferred my 02's with no Entune to what is in my new SR5 15. I hate Entune. I could train a cage full of tigers with more success than training the Entune voice recognition system. It is a wonder that I have not taken a club to the damn thing. Toyota should be embarrassed with Entune. Perhaps they should of called it "OutOfTune".

If PC magazine thinks Entune is the best, stop reading PC Magazine.It'seasier to teach a caged tiger to talk then to teach Entune the user's voice recognition.

Remember the days of tape decks and a good ole Road Atlas. Use to make my own mix tapes for road trips.Yeah Entune works just fine for what it is, streams some music apps and I don't have to stop to see the surrounding roads.

Entune is way better than the system I had in my 2015 Jeep Renegade. That system made me want to peel off my own skin and feed it to a goat.

If you think entune is awful, could you please share which auto manufacturer you think has a better option? And to keep it fair, let's not include those that require a subscription.

Mercedes, Lamborghini, BMW, Infiniti, Tesla...would be a few.
If Toyota was just to work with Pioneer or Samsung they could create a MUCH better package

It works fine. I like it but it is what it is and that's a conduit for a phone or music device.

x2. It's good if you have a phone that does all the other stuff. That being said, I don't use any of the Entune apps, and I'm thinking about replacing the head unit with an Alpine that does CarPlay. But then I think, "Why the hell am I going to replace the head unit when my phone already does all this stuff?" Then I head over to Maxtrax....

Neither apple nor google is an auto manufacturer - you failed to answer my question. That said, neither apple nor android got stellar reviews from the few reviews I watched.

Perhaps we should be demanding less from our driving aids, and be focusing more on the road ahead..
