Peeling clear coat remedies

Are there any DIY remedies for a clear coat peeling? My hood and roof has the clear coat peeling in patches. Looks like a bad case of acne. It was bad enough that with extra Plastidip available I plastidip my hood. I'm pretty sure it won't last so wondering for remedies

Bump. Same issue on my mazda I am very interested in any solutions that do not make it worse!

I looked into this a while a ago for my truck and found that the only thing you can really do that won't end up looking chimpy is to 1. Research local paint/body shops yourself 2. Choose one yourself to do a repaint for you 3. Pay them yourself.

No other diy solution i found is really worth doing. So for now my hood still looks awful until i have the disposable cash to have it repainted.

1. wet sand entire affected body part
2. prep
3. primer
4. paint match
5. apply new paint with HVLP gun
6. apply 2k clear urethane with HVLP gun
7. appreciate the fine work you did

You can wet sand the peeling part then spray it with clear coat, but don't expect that it will look like a high end job.
