Performance Muffler/No Drone

Which muffler provides the best airflow without drone? I know people have purchased the Walker Quiet-Flow, but does that muffler have any better performance than stock? I despise drone and would prefer a slight raspy truck sound on my V8 if possible.

I've read some threads questioning the construction of the Dynomax VT. Something about a loose spring that rattles. Perhaps this has been fixed. Any D VT owners out there?

I had a flowmaster original 50 SUV series and didn't hear any drone. It does sound good-- a bit loud but not raspy.

I appreciate your responses. I've decided to pass on any exhaust upgrades for now. The new air intake I installed gives me the sound I wanted. With a loaded down rig it has a very mild drone in itself at certain rpms.
