performance tuners/chips

I have not tried this product but I did see it advertised on this forum. I'm pretty sure T4R.Org has nothing to do with the ads that get posted here. It is probably a combination of my Google usage and Cookies. Anyways, I don't know anything about it except that I saw it and you are asking, I hope this works out for ya.

There is no simple plug-n-play chip for the 2nd Gen, but at least on the V6 model you can have the computer reprogrammed by a company called JET Performance--I don't know about the 4-banger, but it's likely they can do the same to it (I only checked on the model I had, a V6). You have to remove the computer from behind the pass. side kick panel and send it to them, and they will tinker with it at their factory, then send it back. I never had it done myself, but I've definitely seen the listing for it (about $300, if I remember right), and it might help some--just don't expect miracles (like absurd claims of 60+ hp, etc.). I think I'm gonna just do headers and exhaust and any other bolt on stuff that I can do on my own, don't really want to start screwing with the comp.
Anyways I want to do a rear swing arm bumper and roof rack before then. I just changed all the fluids, oil/filter change and full tune up and it's running great and getting way better power and mileage
