Probably the most important part of my build!!! I think I can officially say that by the end of February I will have a new DD. Say hello to my new 1985 Toyota MR2! It is partially restored. All I plan on doing to it is slapping on a body kit and getting it painted. It's kind of half way across the country, but for the price I don't mind the trip and I get to stop in and surprise my mom on her birthday! As soon as I have the "Rice Bomber" tagged, the Minnow will go to the garage for a MAJOR rehab!

Sweet. I like those little MR2s. I looked at getting one myself a couple years ago, but I didn't fit.

Any thoughts on putting Jeep fender flares on a Toyota? Since they don't make flares for a 2nd gen and I am cutting my fenders anyway I thought about putting some Jeep flares on there to keep some of the splash out when I have the tube doors on. Any thoughts?

Seriously. Run some tube up from the sliders to the bumper, and then tack some sheet metal between the body and the tube.

Finally getting some work done!!!! Finished cutting the fenders and made room for my brand spanking new 35x12.5x15 BF Goodrich KM2's!!!! Pictures coming as soon as they are mounted. 2" lift with 35's? It can be done! Saw Zaw and a 4 1/2" grinder work wonders.
