haha yeah man i hear ya on that. A lot of people rock the borla, magnaflow, vortex and others. I too wanted to try something different. And i dont think this thing will ever die but if it does I might get a bigger one to make it even more quiet.

I get compliments all the time on the road of how it sounds. I unfortunately dont know the part number, I've had it on over 4 years now. I couldn't even log in to there site to see my order history. Ill do some digging and see what i can find and post it if i find it

Ya man it has a great sound to it. You don't have to go through anymore trouble man to find the part number lol I will just give them a call in a couple weeks when I order it. Thats good to hear that is still going stronger after 4 years. I just looked through you build thread and I love how your 4runner has turned out!

Well guys I made it to Houston (worst drive ever from California to Houston I have done it like 8 times now) a couple weeks ago without any problems minus the trans temp getting up higher than I would like to see. Since being here I am driving the 4runner a lot more than I want to so I am going to pick up a used corolla as a DD. Since I am going to buy a DD I am going to hold off on getting some konig wheels but am still going to pick up a set of Toyota wheels since I had the ones that are on it now. Which wheels do you guys think I should go with 5 stars, Tundra/Sequoia silver split spoke, or 17" FJ wheels? I have a line on a set of the split spoke wheels with tires that have 35% tread for $200. Whatever wheels I go with will get painted. My next mods I have planned are B&M 70264, window tint, and clear corners. Another thing I really need to get done is the valve cover gaskets. Let me know what you guys think

Ya this is the regular one. Do you happen to remember what the part number is on that? I just check out your video and the exhaust sounds really good. I think I might actually have to go with the Spintech over the Borla. I want to have something different cause it seems like everyone and their mom has a Magnaflow. Thanks man

The PO had put a 40 series flowmaster on my 4runner and it sounds awesome! Even my fiance loves the way it sounds and she cares little to none about cars if that says anything.

Well I finally have an update worth posting. I picked up a set of FJs with 265 BFGs. They look a million times better than those tacoma TRD wheels.

Not a big update but its been something I have wanted to do since I got the 4runner. I order them off ebay and it took 3 weeks but I finally got them.

Well guys I thought I would update my thread since I bought another Toyota. I picked up a 2002 double cab tacoma limited 4x4 with 147k miles from the original owner. She had every single maintenance record including every oil change receipts. I've always wanted a double cab tacoma every since that were released. Here is the truck when I first bought it

Since buying the truck I took off the toolbox, chrome side steps, and front bug guard. I still need to take off the window vents since they are cracked. I also
replaced the 11 year old window tint with 20% on the front and 5% in the rear. My favorite upgrade so far is my new wheels off of a 2012 T|X Pro edition tacoma . I plan on doing a mid travel set up on it soon with uniball uppers, coilovers, and deavers in the rear. This is how it currently sits

Thanks man! Ya the pricing for double cabs here is ridiculous too because not many people bought 4x4 here in Texas it seems like. Tires I am thinking of either some Toyo AT2 or Cooper ST Maxx

We'll guys I thought I would update my thread. A couple days ago I picked up another 4runner. It's 99 with 184k miles and a 5 speed but no e locker. I really love my Tacoma but I am selling it to help out my grandmother with medical bills. I am really liking being back in a 3rd gen and have big plans for it. It has some rust underneath since the previous owner took it back and forth to Colorado all the time but it's part of the maintenance list I am going to do to it. Anyways here is a picture of it. I'll take more when the weather clears up here.

Small update I have been wanting clear corners since I bought the 4runner but can find the 99-02 clears anywhere except for on Burtmans website for $75. I finally got tired of looking and purchased a 96-98 set. They don't look as good as the 99-02 but I think they clean up the front end.
