Try deleting the BT connection between your phone and HU on both the phone and HU. Make sure you delete/forget both sources on each device and not just disconnect BT.
Once you pair the devices again, see if this makes a difference.
For me, turning off "LTE" in settings solved the bluetooth call dropping issue. Found this solution on an Apple forum and seemed to be the same resolution for everyone.
where is that?
This is driving me crazy. I'll try disabling LTE but it's not loading any of my call history, favorites or anything. Is there a setting on the new iphone 11 i need to change to allow this? I'm on my phone in my 4R constantly and can't have hands on the phone anymore due to laws. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyone having issues staying connected on calls after the newest iPhone update?
I updated my phone Sunday night, now when ever I call someone using the hands free I stay connected for about 3-4 mins then the toyota system freezes for a couple of seconds, says call ended and then completely resets... wait for the Toyota logo to come back up, everything.
Makes calls just fine everything like it used to but won’t allow me to talk more than a couple of minutes...
Any suggestions? I’m blaming the iPhone update as it wasn’t doing this last week before the update.
I just went to the dealer for this, repeated reboots after 60 seconds if I have bluetooth enabled. They did a system reset and checked to make sure the previous system flash upgrade they did over the summer was still the latest version.
Then they said the radio needs to be replaced. $870 estimate plus taxes. I left without replacing the radio and I'll be looking at aftermarket options I guess.
