Photo Albums

Guys, just wanted to point out an underused feature of t4r.org - Photo Albums (second link at the top nav). It enables any member to create his/her own photo album with all things T4R. Once we have enough pictures there, I'll be able to integrate it more tightly with the board, displaying random pictures on the home page, links to albums under user's avatar, etc.

No luck starting my own album. I've always liked the forums where you can click on the members photo albums for pics...wondered why I've never seen that on here. Just links to build threads, but no albums.

Anyone else try yet? I would like to start one.

What happens when you click on Photo Albums and then Add Album link?

Conspearasea, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.


Same thing happened when I tried to start an album after adding my lift/tires.

I'm liking having the Album pics up at the top of the forum. Great idea! :banana:

Why did the album pics disappear from the home page? That was cool seeing pics of member's rides up there.

They didn't disappear, simply moved to the bottom of the page. I'm still playing around with different layouts, stay tuned.

It worked the first time, but now it won't.

i just uploaded all mine with no problems.....?? worked fine for me.

yeah i downloaded the pics from a digital camera, resized all of them and uploaded them into the gallery
they are just jpg's
is it a jpg you are trying to upload or what?

Yes. They are JPEGs, but they are all about 3 mb. I thought the program on here would automatically resize them.

yeah that is the problem, mine were originally 3mb too. just open your image on your computer and adjust the size so its 600kb or less and then upload them onto t4r
