I'll be interested to see what you find. I'm looking into swapping a non-multimode case into my '01 (tired of dealing with electric actuator problems).

The problem with just doing the case is that you need a way to activate the front ADD actuator. With manual hubs, I won't have to worry.

also the T100 case is passenger side drop, so it won't work in our Runners without a SAS. If anything you'd be looking for a 96-98 case

I'm looking at a 97 case and driveshafts.

you could, so long as you have a driver's side drop axle like a Waggy 44

um engine and trans both are different. same base but different parts on the tacoma and the t100. also i think the transfer on T100 is forward shift instead of top shift like ours. but i'll let you find that out for me :bat:

nope same 5VZ with A340...I know the T100 is forward shift- there's a block off plate on the tranny for the newer ones, remove the plate, insert shifter, go wheeling...at least that's my working theory imp:

my jaw dropped when looking at that list. are you doing anything to the rear in regard to suspension or keeping it the same? secondly, i'd happily help you make your money back by getting rid of that 4.88 clamshell :bigok:. either way i'm stoked to see you start cutting

If you weren't already planning on it, do the IFS hub swap on the front axle. That will widen it by 3 inches overall.
