I'm gonna gravity bleed them for now...double-pump it all the way to work tomorrow and run the truck on the brake flush machine :biggrin1:
Whelp...my truck is rejecting this swap like a bad donor organ...
My driveshaft is the perfect length...PERFECT length...but none of the bolt patterns on my triple drilled flange fit my driveshaft. Wonderful. So I have this idea, right? I'll go grab the flanges off my original transfer case and good to go, right? Wrong. The flanges don't fit the transfer case!
aaaaaand on top of that I cracked the bleeder screw off inside my passenger side caliper...so I need a new 13WL caliper too...
:moping:
not gonna make this weekend's trip after all...
Noooooooo!!! That sucks! How did the flange issue happen?
Damn man.... this thing is fighting you harder than Rocky Balboa!
Hope you get her buttoned up soon man!

I broke off the bleeder screw in my 13WLs as well when I first installed them, and I went out and got a "tap and die" set. It came right out, and then I went out and bought another set of bleeder screws. Hopefully it goes somewhat smoothly for you LINY. Your truck is beautiful, and I wouldn't lower the front any more. I would need to see it on purely level land, but it looks gorgeous how it sits currently. :thumb:
Ordered Inchworm's flange adapter that makes gear cases work in newer trucks...this should be my ticket out!
Ordered it rush shipping so we'll see...
Not sure if this will help you, but i had an issue when i ditched the double cardan on my rear driveshaft. The pattern on the new yolk was not the same as the one on the back of my tcase. And the chain driven tcase flange has a different spline count than all other toyota drive flanges, but the bore centric part of the driveshaft was the same size. I just pushed the flange on the driveshaft on the workbench. Marked some holes with a sharpie doing my best to make them centered and drilled the flange to fit the different pattern. so if you have room on the triple drilled flange for another set of holes just go for it.
Sounds like you already have a solution, but with the way toyota has bore centered driveshafts it makes it easy to drill new holes and actually have it fit.
If that were my situation, I would demand a $35 credit.
Is it finally being shipped?
It finally shipped on friday after I called and corrected their screw-up. I did ask for the credit on the 2-day Air, waiting on that also.
Tracking number says it should be here tomorrow.
Silly that something so minor is keeping my truck grounded.
