Was the metal look under the chrome plating?? Or is that the Chrome plating just sanded down?? Mine is bubbling and peeling, and I was looking into replacing some of the badges.......but if they are metal underneath, rather than plastic, I may try cleaning them up and polishing them????

Sliders are in my closet waiting on my welder friend...BudBuilt skids next...then 4.88s and a powertrax rear locker...then a baja rack hopefully

Those emblems look good. Never thought of painting the color of the vehicle before.
