PIAA's mounted in lower grille

I've been searching for half the day and can't seem to find it, but either I'm hallucinating or someone installed a pair of those rectangular PIAA fog/driving lights (940's?) in the lower grille. They were almost a perfect fit after he cut a couple pieces of the plastic crossbars in the grille. Anyone know who that member was or what thread he posted those pics in?

HOJeepster has done the rectangular ones; I have done circular ones, when I had the stock bumper

I had the PIAA 940's installed in the lower valance. They are the yellow fog/white driving light.

These are only 55w, I'd only do this mod again if you intend on upgrading to 85w or 110w bulbs...just not as bright as I thought they would be considering they are PIAA.

I definitely remembered both of those 4Runners. Very nice. Can't believe I missed the lights on both of them.

Any good pics of the mounts? That's really what I'm fishing for.

haha, Im not going to lie here; I used the mounts that came with it and used this really strong outdoor double sided tape. I know it sounds ridiculous but they were not heavy lights and that tape really does work; it took me a second to actually get them off.

Yup, the post you're referencing is from Offroadr, same one as in my second post above. I can't seem to get his pics to show, but the pic of HOJeepster's does the trick.

Haha, I know, I know; but it wasn't just household double sided tape. It was outdoor stuff used to hold up things much heavier than the little PIAA lights I had in there. It was legitimately holding them on there, through very rough driving, bouncing around. I wouldn't show you in the wrong direction; I did get the lights for free so... I might not have cared about them as much.
