Yeah got into the police department in 2013 so I sold my 3rd gen and picked up a 5th gen for patrol. Luckily my friend bought my 3rd gen so it didn't get passed around on Craigslist like all the other toyotas

They're dipped, and I wish they were 285's! Factory size 265s though...(I know it's a 285 thread, but I hadn't seen someone post the black paint yet)

Hah I thought there seemed to be a lot of space in the wheel well!! But they do look great in black. Someone posted on the forum the other day a set plasti dipped in anthracite. Looked killer as well.

Yes it is. It's cheaper for the county to give us a vehicle allowance and let us use our own cars then it is for them to buy a fleet of patrol cars and deal with maintenance. Unfortunately for your friend we can't use trucks for patrol
