Pinhole in CV Boot...fixable?

So I was doing the brakes and noticed quite a bit of grease on the FR passenger side CV boot. Checked the boots and they look fine, but I found a pinhole (or pinch I guess maybe from a rock or something) on the CV boot. Was thinking maybe some Ultra Black or something on the boot to plug it up and keep it from spewing any more? Not sure if it will work or if there's a better solution. Would hate to deal with replacing them, doubt too much grease has leaked out. Ideas?

I have tried to seal a pin hole with ultra grey before. It worked for like two days. The only patch that ever worked on it before I finally broke down and replaced the boot a year later was a tiny little bicycle tube patch. The first time I tried it I did not get the boot clean enough and it fell right off. The second time I scuffed the boot a little better and then glued the patch on. My pin ole was right on the ugh spot of the ridge and the glue is not ment to use like this but it held all summer. FYI
