Pink Milkshake Tundra?

A friend of mine just bought a 2000 Tundra with the 3.4L and the auto trans. That got me thinking, does the pink milkshake issue only apply to 4runners?

Does anyone know if this same issue was present in the 1st gen Tundra? Thanks.

Is the engine coolant and tranny fluid both using the same cooler/radiator? If so, pink milkshake applies.

+1 to 02sernr, add a beefier cooler-that'll extend tranny life with cooler temps too....
