Pioneer AVH-P4400BH in 3rd Gen

I'm going to be ordering this Pioneer double din head unit:

AVH-P4400BH - NEW! - 2-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver with 7" Widescreen Touch Panel Display, Built-In Bluetooth®, and HD Radio™ Tuner | Pioneer Electronics USA

I'm just wondering if anyone else has installed a double din like this and whether you needed a kit or harness?

I got all the info I needed for parts from another thread.

I'm wondering if we have a step by step install guide on here for taking apart everything to get the old unit out etc?

am using the same HU ..looks and sounds awesome..gat stock speakers on my sr5, though changing the stock speakers/installing an amp or sub woofer will make it sound even better!

Instrument Cluster Not Working Following Radio Install

Purchased an '03 Limited two days ago. Have been tuning it up before a cross-country trip back to school in two days.
Took apart the dash and installed my own radio. Radio works perfectly. Also painted dash with black truck bed liner. Looks awesome.

I put the dash all back together and turned on the car to find that the instrument cluster was not working. No lights, no odometer, no movement of the gauge hands.

Was there a wire cluster I did not connect again?

When I took the dash apart, I did not go past the instrument cluster.
All the lights work, the turn signals work, the radio works, etc. I checked fuses and spun the dash light. The problem is that the entire instrument cluster doesn't function.

I've attached an image. Let me know what y'all think!

its likely a blown fuse somewhere, search the forum..its happened b4.....the fuse area under the kick panel...drivers foot area

I put this in a couple months ago

Very similar except mine has a tilt display which is really nice for sun glare. Seems to have similar specs also to the 4400 so I don't quite understand why the 4400 is more money. Anyways, I LOVE my stereo. Super cutomizable. HD radio is a revelation to me. I have always liked Pioneer equipment, and with the NVX amp and Type R alpines this thing rocks!!
