Pioneer Headunit Install Questions (3rd Gen)

Ok ya'll I bought a new Pioneer AVH-4400. But, as usual questions and problems come up. So I have 2 questions as of right now, before install:
1. Will my power antenna work even though I am trying to install my parking brake bypass?

2. Will the power antenna go up only when I want radio, or will it just be up anytime the head unit is on? -This one is important since I love having my antenna go down when I don't need it. It's also handy for car washes, etc.

NOTES: The bypass is a micro relay with a black(ground),Green(parking brake), and blue wire(instructions say that's the 'system remote control' wire).
The wiring harness to plug into my 4Runner's harness has a blue wire, but the wring harness for the head unit doesn't have one, so I have no idea how I'm going to get my power antenna to work.
I'm going to use this thread for questions I have with this install, and maybe it will help some more people. There seems to be a lot of random threads with individual questions, and this seemed more handy than never finding what you need. Those two questions up there are just my first few questions.

Help on this would be greatly appreciated. I want this head unit in my car and out of my room ASAP.

I don't know about your specific model but the older Pioneers only have 1 turn on out (blue wire). (Alpine and other brands have a radio specific for power antenna and full time when the player is on for amplifier turn on.)

I have a slightly older screen in my 3rd gen and just installed a small switch inline with the power ant so I can keep it down when using CD/DVD/aux etc. The output should be able to handle your safety bypass module and the antenna no problem. if you want to add an amp or two you may consider a relay on this circuit though.

The blue remote wire will stay on when the unit is on, i think u would need a switch so u can bypass the antenna when u dont need it.

Ok I'll see what I can do for this switch thing.
Do I have to connect the blue bypass wire, the blue/white system remote control, and the blue wire on the wiring harness all together?

connect all blue wires together. then before connecting the other blue to the stock, run a wire to a switch so u can switch it on or off, but also do you have jbl in the truck? or is it base?

I have a 2001, so no JBL. There are a total of 3 blue wires or blue/white wires. There is a blue wire coming from the harness that plugs straight into the car, a blue wire for my parking brake relay, and a blue/white labeled System Remote Control(for an amp plug in). Now you're telling me I should just connect all 3 wires together?
I'm also confused on where and how I should install this switch for my power antenna.

well, u still need to connect the radio harness blue on the pioneer to the relay bypass blue together, then add a switch from the pioneer to the car harness blue, get some extra speaker wire so u can run it to the switch, one end of speaker wire go to pioneer, and ther other to the metra/ scosche harness, the other ends of wire go to the switch.
