planning out my build...

Unfortunately I had to remove my ladder when I put on my CBI with swingout. Wanted to keep the ladder but not enough clearance.

I just did some searching and it looks like joneseyyy was able to get it to work. Maybe you guys had selected different options / layout for the swing out.

Here's the link to the pic in the CBI thread

And more info from his site.

Fits just fine on mine. I had to remove the fold out table on the bumper though to fit. Apparently this suprised Nathan at CBI as he said it should have fit. I wasn't heart broken when I took the table off, though. I haven't had any issues yet with the tire carrier rubbing on the ladder.

Here are some better pics. It's hard to tell, but there is probably 3/8" clearance at it's closest point.

Yeah I have the fold down table so no ladder for me.

If I was knew the fitment issue before ordering, I still would opt for the table. Before installing I thought the ladder would fit, but it didn't. In the end I have usd it way more than I thought i would camping out of the back of the rig, or just pulling off to fish a river. Everyone's needs are different but I have gotten better use/value with the table over the ladder.

Don't get me wrong I still miss my ladder, probably more for looks though than the actual utility of the thing. I can access the whole roof rack standing on my bumpout sliders or rear tires. In the 2 years before the bumper I never used the ladder for loading stuff, just easier to load from the sliders or standing on the rear tire.

In the end if depends on what you do with your rig, and then you kinda need to choose between the ladder or the table... Unless Nathan can adjust things for so you can have both.

Edit: joney has ladder and table I see. Hmmm...
