Plastic push tabs

Anyone know where I can purchase those plastic push tabs that used to hold the plastic cover over the radiator support core? I removed the cover so I can run my HID harness underneath it, but those plastic tabs broke off so easily. I went to Toyota dealership and it cost over two bucks just for one. Freaking expensive. Thanks for any help!

Are you talking about those plastic "rivets" with the insert in the middle that you push in to expand and hold it in place? If so, take one with you to a motorcycle shop, and they should be able to match you up one from an ATV fender. That's what I do!

that's exactly what I'm talking about. Motocycle shops huh? I gotta check one out. Thanks for the idea.

use zip ties

I'd just buy them from Toyota. You're gonna waste time and money looking for any other option. Gas ain't cheap and time, at least mine, is worth a lot.

Get the part number and search for the part online at partznet or Toyota of Dallas, you may be able to get them much cheaper than your local Toy dealer.

most other dealerships beside toyota quoted me pretty much same price, even a motorcycle dealer. Cheapest was Nissan, similar part, for 1.10 a piece. May just get that. Not sure I wanna zip ties like previous post, not trying to ghetto rigged my stuff.

hey, it's all good, I was just workin with what I had

Funny thing, we get all worked up paying $2 for a plastic part, and I agree it seems like it should be $.25.
But then we go out and pay $1300 for a bumper.

I am not putting anybody down, I feel the same way.

I checked several auto parts stores for these exact things. The stores had lots of different kinds but not even close to what I needed. Dealer had 'em.

Part number for the radiator support garnish clip is: 90467-08217.

Just had to replace a couple more so I had the parts invoice in front of me....

thanks for all the links and recommendation fellas, and I didnt mean to take a jab at the zip ties, i just want the oem looks.

clips

Might try home depot or lowes , I know I found some that worked over n the nuts & bolts area. Weren't oem but they worked , same prob on the lexus radiator & front skid , and then I found that thread clips&fasteners on is300 forum .

go to your local body shop. if youve ever had your car repaired at a bodyshop they would more than likely give them to you for customer appreciation. my shop would.
