I refused to install an autonomous heater.
And I decided to mount a remote starter.

Thanks for the reply.
Maybe you're right it's about the front cover.
But I can not understand the logic or whether to leave it there or to remove it.
Because a remote starter is not yet installed.
But the car has an original alarm originally fitted with a cover switch and this short pin has been originally installed there.

Today everything has been installed and works very well with a really long range.
Anyone can install the kit on their own, only follow the instructions strictly.
It took me about 2 hours and everything worked from the first attempt.
The good thing about this kit is that apart from the remote which is for long range and the smart ignition keys of the car also start to work as a remote start

I purchased START+ Long Range Remote Engine Starter for 2018 Sienna and trying to install. However, it did not come with installation manual.

START+ Frustrated? try this.

A reliable source says. (2015 with Smart Key or non SK) [recommend leaving one of the windows rolled down]
0. First install and connect bits properly.
1. Open hood
2. Connect battery (if not already connected)
3. Connect 1p RES diag wire
4. Close all doors
5. Press ignition(IG) 14 times with 1 second between presses. (Wait to see hazards flash once) [If not SK then move from OFF to IG ON 5 times, 4way flash then IG to OFF]
6. Press brake and start engine, count to ten then turn off engine. (Wait for hazard single flash again)
7. Open driver door
8. Switch IG to ON and Connect TS and run ECU communication ID Reg and then choose "Remote Engine Starter" and let successful connection, close TS.
9. Turn off ignition (off)
10. Ensure driver door is still open, now close it (Closing driver door will start 10 second count down for Fob programming command, preform step 11 before 10 second count finishes)
11. Quickly open and close driver door (once 10 second counter ends, hazard will flash) [apparently WT42A fob sold with kit pre programmed to RES ECU]
12. Exit car (Close Door)
13. Close hood (see hazard flash twice)
14. Unplug 1p RES diag wire Disconnect battery for 30 seconds, reconnect and clean up.

Good luck. (please note this will let you program one WT42A fob only, if you want more than one then repeat step 11 four times, then wait 10 seconds and follow 11a and 11b below for each WT42A fob one after another, up to max four WT42A fobs)

11a. On WT42A fob press engine then X-Circle (see green light on fob)
11b. Press engine followed by X-Circle on the same fob again (hazard will flash corresponding to Remote Fob ID count)
