Hello to all I just bought a 1997 sr5 v6 automatic 4wd it has 222,000 miles on it. It was running great stopped somewhere came outside to start it and nothing theres power cause everything works but when you turn key nothing no clicking sounds either. So I have it towed to my house and decide to just go ahead and replace the starter. I replaced the starter and what a nightmare that was thanks for all the info on this site. I turned the key and same thing
Nothing. So read somewhere try jump starting it so I did and it started so I figured it was battery so I put new battery in it with new battery cables and terminals. Than tried starting it again and nothing. Tried to jump it again and this time that didnt wrk either. So next step starter relay replaced that still nothing. I dont know what else to do I was gonna try ignition switch next any help is appreciated. Thanks.
