Plug and Play Rear Camera Override Dongle

I was wondering if I could get some advice from you awesome people with your awesome vehicles. I am fairly new when it comes to wiring anything into my vehicle so please excuse the ignorance on my part. So I am trying to hook up the dongle in my 2014 and i'm not sure about a few things. I have an auxillary fuse block that all my switches run off and I want to keep things uniform and connect through the fuse block, rather than tap into any of my stock wiring.
This is currently how my fuse block is set up:
My switches are have all been pre-wired so that I can connect any accessories via the fuse block
and this is the cable that runs to the fuse block:
Reading some of the other posts that I've seen in this thread, it seems like there is no need for grounding. So my question is, how would I still connect the two wires that come off the dongle? Can I just connect them to the positive and negative wires on my accessory cables, or will potentially create some kind of issue? Any advice on the matter will be extremely appreciated. Thanks!

Very nice setup you have there...
You can wire the dongle DIRECTLY to the switch. No need to go through the relay panel. The two wires from the dongle will go to the two switched terminals on the back of your switch. If the switch is currently wired to the relay panel you can unplug those wires from the switch and replace them with the two wires from the dongle.

Thank goodness! No grounding and do the install with the truck off. Hopefully everything works out as it should this time. Glad to hear it is resolved.

I will more than likely be phasing out the 2 source selector switch and replacing it with the new 4 source video selector. The video below shows it in action in my truck which currently only has two cameras. This box can handle 4 source.

Would it be possible to use both source selectors at the same time? For example I want all around cameras, but I want two front cameras, one normal one and one FLIR

Do you have a FLIR camera model in mind? I've heard there are few to choose from without spending a fortune.
Hi, do you have more information or a video showing how to connect the 4-source video selector to your existing connectors? Also I noticed it requires separate power, how did you wire that? Finally, how will the pricing work since your current packages include the 2-source selector switch? Thanks.

I don't have one in mind right now other than the FLIR pathfinder 2, which is somewhere between 2 and 3 grand. But to be completely honest I havent really looked too hard since I didn't have a way to hook it up and keep everything looking like it came from the factory...until now

I am probably going to start phasing out the 2 source switch. I will have them available still but will not be making them in bulk like i have been and will just make them one at a time if they are still wanted (just take a couple extra days).
I will be adding the 4 channel switch to a "kit" and also have it available for sale on its own.
It regards to power. The power connection is a standard barrel connector and comes with a pigtail that you can wire in. For testing, i have mine plugged into the 12v outlet in the truck and there is no reason why this cannot be permanent if you like that. I have designed a harness that plugs into the 22 position connector located under the trim by the transmission shifter. The harness will provide a switched 12v source and a tap into the illumination circuit. I haven't ordered the supplies yet because I am not sure if anyone would like this. If i can get 15 or so interested parties I will bring in the supplies and start making them. PM Me or respond here if interested.

The pics aren't of my equipment, though it's the write up that I used to build my box so everything is wired the same.
The problem I'm having is that because my switches are essentially daisy chained, disconnecting the current connections to hook up the dongle causes my other switches to not work. I did get the camera to work, but then nothing else was getting power. One option I'm considering is moving my camera switch to the last connection, so that everything else should still be getting power. Does anyone else have a Bussmann hooked up and have all their switches wired though it? Thanks

From the looks of the picture you should be able to use any switch in your array of 5. Disconnecting the harness from any switch will still allow the other switches to operate by the looks of it.

Has anyone tried the Prestigous Society nav override dongle with this rear camera override dongle?
This. I have the same PS adaptor and was trying to figure out if the dongle would interface and just allow more cameras, since I have the override already in place.
I ordered the Prestigious Society "Navigation Enhancement System" ($179) and it should be here this weekend. I'm going to try it with rear camera dongle to see if it works and I'll report back. I think it will work judging by the photos I see of the PS dongle. The 2 dongles will connect in series.
