Jump on this folks! I didn't think I'd use it much, but find myself toggling it on a lot more than expected.
[MENTION=129513]bjohnston115[/MENTION], When you set up the web site, you mentioned an across the board sale. Got anything coming for the of us who already have the dongle?
Currently, I have the dongle and OEM style switch, which works great. I was thinking of adding a front camera, so I'd need the Aux Video Dongle, too, as well as the Video Selector Switch.
But now it looks like we might get a small travel trailer. I'd like to add a camera on the back of the trailer, as well as a front camera, and hook it into this system. So in addition to the Backup Camera Dongle I already have, I'd need the Aux Video Dongle and 4-Channel selector, correct? I wouldn't need the Video Selector Switch, correct?
Do you have a rough diagram of how a three camera setup gets connected? Not a detailed wiring diagram, just a block diagram of what goes where.

This is genius. It would work fine, if you can get a switch that supports it.
On the gen5 4runners there's a switch for the aux 110 AC power that seems to have 3 positions.

Got the dongle installed and set up to a DPDT switch. Hardest part was figuring out how to wire up the switch, but thanks to a little help from [MENTION=129513]bjohnston115[/MENTION] got everything running perfectly.
I just wired up the override dongle. Super easy - and that's coming from somebody with zero experience with wiring. Great product [MENTION=129513]bjohnston115[/MENTION]!
Now I just need a place to mount my switch. Does anybody know how to access the party mode button on a 2017 4runner? I'm sure it's similar to the other years. Thanks!

Thank you, glad it is working out well for you.
To access the "party mode" blank it could be tricky. I have done it without taking the panel off by twisting my body and shoving my arm up there. This will result in a scraped hand and arm and other random pains.
You may be able to access it when the radio and heater assembly is out. I haven't done it in a while so I do not know the best way, someone else may be able to chime in. I know it has been documented here before tough, check the Antman build thread it is probably in there.

Noticed a diode is needed to keep reverse lights turned off while this switch is engaged to view rearview camera, is that true with this dongle? I haven't seen anyone with the dongle talking about a diode but people that have simply tapped in are using it. Just want to make sure I have what I need when this arrives. I'm using the air on board reverse camera switch pt# 980b

Everything is built into the product already. Ready for you to plug in and add a switch.
AOB switch will work. Use the green and red wires to connect to the two wires from the harness. Reach out if you have questions during the installation.

To confirm, the only thing I connect is the switch, correct?

Yes both wires go to the switch. You can try touching the two wires together on the harness to try to isolate the problem.
Also if you are using a switch with for wires like an air on board switch make sure the other two wires are protected so they do not short on anything.

I am not 100% sure how the switchpro unit works so I cannot be certain about it.
The override harness has two wires coming off of it. One wire is a 12v supply wire and the other wire is the load which needs to be supplied 12v to activate the override. If you are using an external 12v source which is what it sounds like what the Switchpro unit is doing then you only need to use one wire on the override.
If you have a meter, plug in the override and test which wire is reading 12v. (Connect one meter wire to ground and the other to the harness wire) Tape this wire up because for your application you will not be needing it.
Then confirm your swtichpro unit is putting out 12v to one wire and connect this to the remaining wire on the harness. No wires from the harness should be grounded in any way, this will cause the fuse to blow like you are saying.

Ah, progress.
As for the SwitchPro, the positive wire from the unit to be turned on (mainly lights in my case) gets connected to the SW. The negative wire from the lights gets grounded anywhere that is good ground.
Ok, so tape up the longer wire and use the shorter wire to the switch.
