I voted other. I'd be curious to see how the stripes look in the vintage/heritage colors. Break up all the black.

The red, orange and yellow? I’ll try for fun late tonight when I have time. I wish I knew Photoshop. All of this would be easy.

I like forum members’ ALLPRO4 legacy stripes also.
Stripes on lighter colors seems to click better.

Surf had great graphics (prob same as 1/2 gen 4runners). Saw a lot of older ones in Okinawa (where I got sold on Toyota). Wish I had a pic of my friends, but it said Surf down the entire side in the same direction, so the passenger side was written backwards.

A little to bold for my taste. I am looking for something subtle. I appreciate the ideas coming.
BTW, as far as legacy goes, I would like to see the 6th gen a replica of the 1st gen, with removable top, but with 4 doors and the interior size of the 5th, of course. Add 50hp too.

I've owned Toyota trucks with factory stripes. On your current 5th gen I prefer it sans stripes.

But the only thing that matters is what you want.

I am leaning towards the one with subtle red pin stripes to accent the little bit of red. something like my 2013 SS. Or else it will be nothing. Thanks for your vote and input.

IMO, I like the matte black with the red pin stripe. But, pull it together with a cohesive look by adding:

1. Side mirrors accents in red

2. Black overlays on all you logos

3. Red inserts in your logos..maybe

4. If you have a TRD skid put red letters on it. Call them on this one, new skids have smaller letters (2016 Tacoma letters)

6. Black out roof rails if you keep the stock ones. Or buy black ones

7. Some of the newer blacked out tail lights would look amazing on it as well.

Writing this makes me want a black 4R!

Murdered out with some red accents can look really good.

Plus since it is a Pro so you have red stitching inside as well. Of course TufSkinz has interior stuff as well. At the very least I do like the foam inserts with red in the cup holders and storage areas

Interesting. Never seen these. If it isn’t too much would be a great idea for some balance up front.

My 2018 was a September purchase and came with the 19 skid with red letters. Of course, I have red springs.

I did it in my Paint schemes, but, this is the most important mod I have yet to do and it is a must.

I thought about those except that when I read the reviews some said the red was too red and didn’t match the red stitching that is darker.
We are on the same page for mods.

Your truck is black, you're probably going to need some white to break that up.

Also your stripes are fat, the 4Runner has fat bulges around the wheel arches, I would go with thinner stripes to break that up.

Finally you're going with gentle curves instead of sharp angles, the bodywork of the 4runner favors sharp angles.
