Poll: What brand and load range of tire do you run?

I had C rated tires on two FJ 60's and a '91 4WD truck. If I was oozing money, I'd switch to 15" rims so I could have C tires on the 4Runner. There is no need for D or E tires on a vehicle this lightweight, at least in my experience.
Never had an issue with the C rated tires, including driving on roads made entirely of sharp lava rocks in the Mojave Desert.

The last set of tires on the '85 was BFG KM2 in load range E, my favorite tire I've ever rolled. The next set could be another set of KM2s, but I might try a set of Maxxis Trepadors. And I might go with Cooper ST Maxx (load range E), which I'm currently rocking on the F150, and are currently my second favorite tire ever and closing the gap. The wife's '99 has Duratracs (load range E, natch), and I'm so mad about these tires I want to punch a nun just from looking at them. Definitely will not buy them again.
The load range thing is so overthunk on this board it's silly. If you rarely/never leave pavement, sell your 4Runner and buy a minivan and change your name to Nancy. If the worst your truck sees is graded gravel and smooth dirt, P rated tires will suffice, but load rated tires wouldn't hurt - any load rated tire, don't obsess over C vs E or whatever. If you're wheeling decently hard, load rated tires are what you should buy (for the increased durability), and you should be ready for them to not feel like P rated tires when you're on pavement, and if you can't handle that then you need to sell your 4Runner and buy a minivan and change your name to Nancy.
If you're towing, obviously you should pay attention to weight distribution and run a tire with the appropriate load range.

I have 31x10.5x15 bfg kos. They are load range c. To me they ride really nice on road and offroad. The road noise isnt too bad either

You don't happen to have an extra set of 17" tundra wheels around do you? All the coopers are E rated in the 16" wheels

I have this Toyo on my 100 series and it was a noticeable difference from the soft Michelin LTX. Have BFG AT E-rated on the 4runner. A bit stiff, but if you need the durability then it's a no brainer.

Damn! I sold my extra set maybe 3 weeks ago. I only have spare 16" wheels right now.
Edit: I looked some up and there's a couple yards in big lake that have them cheap and one out in Eau Claire that has them at a good price. Be careful though I got a bent wheel when I got a set from a yard and they wouldn't take it back probably should've read the receipt better but oh well.

I came from passenger rated Firestone Destination to E rated BFG KO2.
Happy to say I absolutely love the BFGs. I absolutely hated the firestones that were on there. Mushy, squirrely, soft, floaty, etc.....the firestone's never felt planted.
Now, it feels like the truck got an entirely new suspension all around. I don't understand what people are talking about when they say it's too stiff of a ride.....it's supposed to ride like a truck, not a unibody suv right?

285/75/16 General Grabbers AT2s D rated. Only 285 I could find with a D rating. My next tires will likely be 315/75/16 BFGs, E rated.

Wish I researched more about the trail grapplers when I was looking for tires. I ended going with 285/70 17 duratracs D load because they are the only 285s I could find that weren't an E load. I love them now but the trail grapplers look sweet and a C load would be perfect for me!

E rated tires are great on my Ford Excursion. They are overkill for a light 4Runner. C and D rated tires are all you need.

Surprisingly the KO2s in Load E are actually pretty good quality in 33s on a 4Runner. I'm running at 32 psi and no complaints.

I'm running what came on my truck. Wild country xtx sport. c range, 265/75x16
however last week when I was in for a rebalance, they told me that they were done. still have a fair amount of tread, not even to the wear bars yet
just need rebalance every few months and now starting to cup even though I keep the tire pressures at 35 ( what they said to keep them at)
so I'm looking for tires, just did not want to spend the 1100 they said it was going to cost to replace with what I got
Id say I'm 60/40 pavement/gravel dirt but a fair amount of snow and ice
when it gets bad I switch to studded snows
but after seeing this poll and reading tire reviews looks like my next set will be KO2
