Poly sway bushings, nothing but headache !

So its been almost a year since I first installed these. I have the poly around the two bar mounts and a set on each endlink.

And they wont stop squeeking ! even with just the slightest movement my car sounds like a old wheel barrel !

I tired greasing the crap out of them , squeek comes right back in a week or 2 .

I isolated them with teflon tape and that lasted about 1 month. And now the squeeking is back !!

Anyone else have this issue?

im ready to ditch the polly and go back to some oem rubber. :toilet3:

did you get the ones with a grease zerk? (i know the endlinks don't have zerks)

Also, I have the black graphite embedded ones with the grease zerk.

no zerk fittings on mine, wish there was.

I tried marine grease, synthetic grease.. nothing seems to last once the grease works its way out....

I have polyurethane bushings for my steering rack and both sway bars.

My poly bushings used to squeak a lot, too. I used some copper anti-seize and it hasn't squeaked since.

The provided grease was washed out and gone in a few weeks.

Anti-Seize lubricant.

Energy Suspensions Ploy grease. The polys on my car never make a peep w/ poly grease.

maybe he is nearing the end of their lifespan?
his are older then mine, but mine still seem to be in good condition.

hhmmmm I have some never-seize in my garage , ill try that next..

I guess that will be my last attempt before going back to stock rubber.

Have you ever tried proper grease? I'd try poly grease first. Here is another link.

I am curious about your issue since I am about to order some new bushings.

Well I tried the grease that came with the kit, I thought that was the right one and only lasted a few weeks before making noise.

And ive tried several others aswell.

But ill look into the one in your link, I just think it will work its way out in a few weeks just like all the others.

I have the energy suspension red poly sway bar and end link bushings. My sway bar bushings are the greasable ones. I' ve never had a problem with mine squeaking every time I change my oil I give each one a shot of grease.

Thats the brand I havem just mine dont have any grease fittings...
