Polyphenol Cabin Filter installation

I decided to try a Mann 1059 polyphenol cabin filter due to the pollen season. The old cabin filter indicates "Up" on the back edge, but the Mann filter indicates "Air Flow" with arrows pointing down. I believe the air flow direction for a 2010Runner is down. Am I correct?

I'm unsure, but if your current filter is dirty enough on one side, that could help determine airflow.

You are correct, air flow is downward. I recently pulled mine out and all kind of leaves and crap were on top.
