I think that date works for me. You want to go all the way to ripplebrook? There isn't much legal wheeling up there unless there is snow.

You'll like browns, the nice thing is that al the difficulties are posted at the beginning of all the trails.
Ripplebrook is about 25 miles or so past the turnoff to ladee. If I am going up there I go through estacada to tumala mountain rd (used to be called squaw mountain) and follow that up. It's not really a better way, but I like it.

Your psychic powers where right! friend of mine and I went up to University road (numerous misc roads off of there) down the power lines to a SUPER SWEET road called 'Bates Rd' there's several side trails from there, and where AWESOME! couple of times i thought i was going to need the winch to go up some slick ass rocks @ ~50 degree inclines! but i took a few shots, and eventually worked enough momentum to carry me up and over. (he's got a video that shows me gassing it up and over, hopefully coming soon) here's some pictures of the days adventures!

This is well after we had gotten started, but a stopping point for 'orientating' ourselves
i'm too lazy to make the entire sign legible...

good times all around! only damage to report was his sway-bar disconnect link, it's now permanently disconnected (bent to shit) out of the way....

i recomend a good map, there trail maps are crap, and the ones on the posts are 50 / 50, here's my second run up a section of Bates Road! EPIC Spot!

I know that area. Real fun! Haven't been there in the daylight in a long time. Last 4 trips I have taken to browns have been in the dark. haha
That is a clean ZJ too.
I'll have to see what everyone's schedule is looking like, but the rough idea I have right now is probably meet at the McDonalds parking lot in North Plains around 8am? There is fuel right there as well. Hang out for a bit, wait for people to show then roll out around 8:45ish.
I'm hoping to get my shackles this week, but if not it's not a big deal.
