Funny thing is, mine was nice and warm in my garage while I was going across Steven's Pass from Leavenworth in the Camry. It was one of those spur of the moment decisions by the wife 3/4 of the way up to Seattle.
Had to chain up this morning on the way to work. Sheet of ice coming down my road. Once I hit I-5 I was good. Love the Toyo At's, and I kept the Level 8's on. Great ride in this weather. You know I still have the Sequoia rims I bought this summer in boxes on my shelf. Think I'll end up selling them. I also still have the original Coke Bottles with the Fortera's still mounted on them.

I went up to LaDee Flats today and did my first technical off-roading. The first trail I did was trail 802 which was fun: a good warm up trail. I then tried my luck at trail 800 and eventually got to a point where the trail squeezed between two boulders that were ready to tear up my unprotected doors. If I had a spotter, I might have continued but it would have been pretty hairy since I was alone.
Highlights:
1. My new ko2s dominated the terrain on those trails. Much better than my Chinese H/Ts. Never lost traction and didn't have to use my rear locker.
2. I need rock sliders! The rocks were eyeing my doors all day :cry2:
3. It would be safer with other people to spot and just have multiple vehicles :doh:
If anyone is going up to LaDee or anywhere within reasonable distance of Portland, I'd like to go with. I'm only free on weekends and some Fridays but it would be awesome to meet some other T4R folks, see each others rigs, and do some wheeling.

What's the scoop on alignments I've called a couple places and they won't do lifted vehicles. Then some have said its a four wheel alignment and others say just the front, looking at my truck how can they align the rear? By extending the panhard bar? (Steve at SS ) says that I want it at 37-1/8 for my three inch 891 shocks. Anyone have a good shop that has a respectful mechanic around town.
I will travel for a good tech, I live in Beaverton and east Portland, Vancouver, Hillsboro, doesn't matter!

Hey there. I had a good experience with norbs allignment in aloha. He's a one man show but a super nice guy and a fan of lifted toyotas. He had no problem workin on mine and went above and beyond for me. His name is Bruce, I don't have his contact info but he's "in the book"

Alignment specialties in Aloha. Those guy are the best and the only alignment shop I let touch my vehicles alignment. I have had them do my 4runner and the Lexus. They will do it. It's a 4wheel, but you can only adjust the fronts. If they don't hook up to the rear, then you are paying them(a shop) to do nothing.

I was checking some old post and seen you were looking for some racks for the runner. If your still looking I thought I'd menton you can find a few at wrecking yards. I have seen more then a couple at a yard in north Portland. Usually there is no key to unlock them so they stay put, but if you look at the 3-4 digit number that is by the key hole, that's a code and you can go to a locksmith real quick and they can look it up and cut the key for you, it's about 10-15 buck but well worth it because most yards will quote you a low price because they usually don't sell. I might be hitting the road next week to visit my Grandma in San Diego but will be back in Feb, and am looking to get some Yakima racks for myself so if you want I can look into it more and grab a set for you if you want.
