Just use CIG or ACC... i've been hint at this since the beginning of this thread.. not sure what you haven't just used that.

I really try and avoid tapping into anything that's "mission critical".

Plus you have plenty of overhead between those two circuits, which are ignition controlled anyways, and really a very safe place to pull from.

I tried CIG...no circuit. ACC leaves the LED light on all the time. That's what I'm trying to say is I can't seem to find a circuit that's going to work properly. Thanks for your help...I'll mess around with it more in the next few days and see if I can get it sorted properly.

The switch LED, the RUN-D LEDs are working fine.

Buying a DigitalMultimeter will make your life in the future much easier. Learning how to use it will probably prevent electrical errors and help you make clean installations that will look OEM and work properly.
You should also buy "Uglies" booklet. It will explain many electrical and electronic mysteries.
