Lance, Have you found the way to quick disconnect of the sway-bar?

Nope and I gave up after trying for over 1 year. The biggest problem is the end link sits on top of the axle/cv boot. This means if you disconnect it, the end link or the swaybar will drive into the boot upon compression. The only way is to ultimately reloate the swaybar ends. But this means it no longer is a bolt on affair.

If anyone can figure this out one I'm all ears. Now that I have the long travel, it's no biggie but I know those with the traditional lift would surely want more love up there.

I'm still thinking once in awhile but nothing has come up recently

How is KDSS system in Lexus works. As from brochure it automatically disconnects sway bar in off-road condition.

KDSS system is a whole different animal. Have you seen that thing in person? dang unit is soooo big and well integrated that trying to install that in a 4runner would be a daunting task. Now trying to mimic that design would also be a daunting task.

There are some cool concepts that jeeps use that cuts the bar at the center (midsection) and add a locking unit but to me that effectively kills the swaybar as it's suppose to use tensions to keep the vehicle. Not sure what they use but maybe it's an aftermarket bar w/ the applied loads already built in?

That's probably the only one that comes closest to one that'll work but since I have no plans on adding a sway bar anymore my plans on building one has been pushed to the bottom. Right now I'm busy with the skid which I know everyone will immediately benefit from it so I'm busy with that.

I have to check out the front bumper mount for the body lift ya too tomorrow when I get home.

Hi Guys, Sorry I took so long to respond. I was eating the ears off a bunny. (chocolate)

As for gas mileage, I have been averaging about 16-17 mpg in city and haven't had a road trip since I put on the lift.

As for cost, I thing I spent about $1700 dollars for everything. That included the rear springs and brake line extension.

I have been very happy with the lift to date.
