Possible coolant leak?

I just noticed this a couple days ago. I popped the hood to check fluid levels and to refill the windshield washer fluid. My radiator coolant reservoir was almost bone dry. I filled it up about 3/4 to the top. (It's all the coolant I had left in the bottle) checked again a few minutes ago and it's already back down to a 1/4 left in the reservoir. Is there anything I can check for? There are no visible stains on the driveway, would the truck have to be turned on to know for sure? If I left any important info out please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help.

Maybe your actual cooling system was missing some fluid from a slow leak and took the fluid from the overflow reservoir you filled. Try filling it up one more time and see what happens.

Any crusty residue around the radiator tank seams? Visible cracks in top tank? What year model? Early 5VZ head gaskets would leak coolant to the outside and dribble down the block, sometimes to the point of a very noticeable drip (there was a recall on these- yours may have already been done or it may be out on time).
