Possible engine oil leak?

so I noticed in the driveway today a few different stains. I put my finer in it and the liquid almost looked clear, regardless I checked all my fluids and my engine oil was the lowest. Almost down to nothing, although I checked it while the car has been off for a few hours (does that make any difference?) I had the oil changed less than 1000 miles ago and I always get it changed at Toyota. When I was last there, a month ago they gave the TR4 a clean bill of health. Like i said the stains in the driveway are not big, a few drops it looks like here and there, is there anything I can do myself to further investigate this? I'm also not the most mechanical guy around, please keep that in mind. Any and all help is appreciated.

Is your drive way has a slope?

How low is the motor oil level?

Yes my driveway has a pretty decent spoke to it. I'm attaching pics of the stain and dipstick, the stains could be weeks old or months old I'm not positively sure. Like I said it was just changed about a month ago.

you need to read it on flat ground. park on flat ground and then retry.

mine looks like that as well when I am parked on the slope in my driveway.

Ok, that actually worked I think, thanks guys. I took a quick drive, put it in park when the engine was warm and on and checked again, the oil level seemed to be fine. Whatever the small leak seems to be I'll have to look further into.
