Before I bought my 5th gen (in Jan) I was seriously looking at an F-150 (ecoboost). I guess I made the right choice.

i had a myriad of little issues since new, but when the short block had to be replaced @ 17k... i was done. also, the never diagnosed battery drain was a total pain.. i think Sync is a major disaster!

the amount of tsb's are mind-boggling for both the v8 and turbo. i got screwed trading it in... nobody wanted it! $13k depreciation in a year.

Thank God I got another 4Runner. One of my holding points was I never had an issue with my 4runnr other then the desk cracking to pieces, but Toyota is replacing those this spring.

I'm happy to share some photos of my pups (only one is a co-pilot though). They have been on road trips all over the country with me in my 4R and my XJ prior to that. Athena (Chow-Shepherd) and Cooper (Lab-Pit) have been from New Orleans to Vermont, Vermont to Seattle, all over Washington State, Oregon, Idaho and Montana, and several trips to Southern Utah and Arizona. That said, they don't care where we go as long as it is a R-I-D-E!
