That's a great hand me down! All I got from my brother were old clothes. Usually with holes in them.

My first car was a 90 Bronco II, for a whole week. My older brother got it from me by convincing my parents he needed it to go to college so I was stuck with the infamous Pontiac Sunbird Station Wagon. I did get it back mid year of my high school senior year. Drove it 3 years through college. With 224,000 miles on it, my dad still drives it today, though the clear coat on the hood is about gone.
The AC needs a breakdown and rebuild. Burns no oil though. Original tranny too.

I just picked this one off the Web, mine was white.

I had a '69 Camaro bought from an old man for $25. It had a blown engine. I bought a 350 and a Muncie 4 speed from my auto shop teacher who had it in his dirt track car for $625..Over the next few years had the car repainted and interior reupholstered...I wish I had that car today.

This was my first truck my dad gave me at 16....well it was only half mine. I just used it to go to school and what not.



Then my dad sold that truck and convinced me to get this.



I've never been a fan of cars even old muscle cars. Don't get me wrong, I think they are cool and all, I just don't care about owning one.

I still kick myself for being short-sighted and selling it, to get a 4wd truck.

Mine was a 1987 Toyota 2wd Pickup...Short cab, short bed, 22R w/a 5 speed behind it. Brown interior w/a bench seat and a Grant GT steering wheel. Picked it up for $1500 worth of my own cash, earned from cashiering and cooking chicken @ Boston Market for a year.

Its name.... was TYCO!!!

Mine was a 1977 Nissan G60 Patrol. I bought it as a rolling chassis and a trailer full of engine bits and body panels. Took me about 12 months to build it. The factory engine was a 4.0lt straight six which I blew up twice, but I did a 5.7lt V8 swap eventually. And a bunch of other mods.

So let me get this straight. You got a '69 Camaro running for $650. Wow...

1st car was my 87 4runner. 22re auto, 3 in suspension 1 in body lift with 33's. That thing was my baby and I would still be driving her today if some lady hadn't pulled out in front of me. Perfect 1st car IMO. Top comes off, can't go fast and super simple. It leaked everywhere inside during the winter when it rained, but was awesome. It's what led me down the 4x4 and 4runner path.

Not mine, but it looked exactly like this.

1998 Honda Civic EX. Totaled when an 88 year old hit the gas instead of the brake at a stop sign and T-boned me. I'll try to find pictures later but they might not exist anymore.
