Where is the best place to cut?

After my recent adventure I pushed my exhaust upwards and now it rattles against my trailer hitch, so I figured I should chop it.

Post up some pictures.

I dont have great pics of where I just hacked it off but you can see the end of it in this one. Will give you somewhat of an idea of where its pointing in the curve. Its the tiny silver circle you can see below the bumper wing. (Bad picture may be an understatement)



Then I got a hole in my muffler so I had my muffler guy chop it off and weld a new muffler on with all new rear piping. Looks like this

I used this program called my trail for photoshop expired so I used iPhoto hahaha

Exhaust fumes may sit under the truck and stink up the cab if you are in heavy traffic often.

O ok yeah I get it now. But isn't dumped risky to get exhaust fumes into the cabin?

My cabin is sealed with bedliner pretty well. I'm not too worried. I'm more worried about crumpling my exhaust so that my engine can't run.

I might dump mine later if I have bottoming out issues I just get scared cuz I've slept in the back with a air mattress idling up to 3+ hours with the ac on quite a few times.

I cut mine a bit longer than in your photoshop so i could still have the gas exiting towards the side of the truck as opposed to the rear, i ride with my back glass down a lot. No chance of crushing it there either. Its still the factory tubing but i had another hanger added to keep the rattles away.
