Also have a 300 watt hardwired under the passenger seat.
Show us the battery mount under the hood.

Very nice. What are those two D batteries for mounted on the rear near the inverter? More pictures please!
I don't really see anything that looks like d cells unless you are talking the two additional 12V outlets mounted low and left of the inverter.
These aren't the latest pics but they show the dual batt setup. Using a Surepower isolator. Works perfect since I installed it last April.

I like your setup....I built a tool box in the back of my '89 and never thought about turning it into a bed. What brand of fridge is that?

Under the hood (between the two batts and isolator) is 4 ga wire. From the Optima all the way to the back is 2 ga (because of the loss at that distance). It is on a circuit breaker and everything is fused.
I have run the fridge nonstop since last March. Even in the summer, including two weeks in Florida last July, I could go 2 - 3 days without the fridge automatically cutting off from the preset minimum. Not shown in the pics is a digital volt gauge that replaces the less-informative green, yellow, red, one that is in the pic.

You did a really good job, I saw your pics on the hunting post also.
Someone earlier asked about the 2nd battery tray, what did you do for it fab, purchased, etc. My old Tahoe ran 2 batteries and I wouldn't mind doing the same with the Toyota, especially when I am in the woods messing around.

The battery tray wasn't hard or expensive. I bought a universal mount at Pep Boys and drilled four holes in my wheelwell and used four blue loctited nut/bolt combos. Touched up the four drilled holes with touchup paint then siliconed them. Had to use spacers and a couple washers to make it as even as I could. It fits in there pretty good. Nothing I'd do different with that.
I would, instead of saving a few bucks soldering lugs and adding the loom to Lowe's purchased wires, just buy some welding cables made to what I needed. My cables are made pretty good but it took a lot of time.

Really appreciate the comments. I want to do a build thread and show all the survival preps I have inside, the subfloor stored recovery gear, and the modular setup that allows me to add/remove things (table next to sleeper that isn't shown, jump seat that still fits in there, etc.
Mid-April I'll do a thorough writeup.
