The bacon explosion....

Oh, for sure - I am no stranger to adding bacon to meatloaf..

The amazing bacon explosion... We threw a bacon party for fathers day last year we made 3 of these, candied bacon, bacon ranch sliders, and so so much more.... I don't think anyone left without thinking they were going to have a heart attack!:hungry:

Having a party later. Made a HUGE batch of carnitas, around six pounds of it.

Got them browned in batches in my largest cast iron pan.

Added my seasonings and they're ready for braising. Using beer instead of water for the braising liquid is essential really.

Spices included ancho chile powder, hot chile powder, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, little cumin, salt.
