This thread is a little old, but I'm excited about my LC coils I just put in so I figured I'd share.

Don't feel bad...I was going to bump it next week when I install my lift lol!

Almost the same setup as well. Tundra billies, Wheeler's T1 front springs and LC 7.5/8 wraps out back.

you're better of going on Ih8mud.com and posting there. I had luck with two. I got some 7.5/8 wraps and was looking for just 7.5 but the two I found, the guys wanted too much for my blood.

Hey I have a 2001 4runner sr5 4x4. Only bought it 3 months ago. Guy I purchased it from had installed list spacers above the springs. I believe it's 1.5 in rear and 2.5 in front. He couldn't remember. Truck has 205k miles on it so springs are sagging some. Thinking of replacing them aND maybe ditching the spacers but still want lift. Whats most cost effective? The 2 options I'm leaning to are the LC could in the rear and tundra in the front with new shocks all the way around. If I do that would factory rear shocks work or could I do Ranchos or something else all the way around? Second option is to keep the spacers and use the 99 4runner highlander springs for more lift. What would you guys suggest? Oh and I know I need a drop piece for the front different either way. Trying to keep this under 600$ for shocks and springs but want roughly 3" of lift with or without the current spacers. Oh and I work for toyota as as parts guy so new toyota parts are not too costly but just want you guys more experienced opinions. Thanks.

If I wanted to go with the LC coils in back and tundra up front would I need to get a front spacer plate for above the springs also made for a tundra or made for the 4runner? Also would I get front struts for a tundra or for the 4runner? Wanna make sure when I purchase parts they are right when I have it torn apart. Thanks in advance. Just new to owning a toyota even though I've worked for them for 3 years. Haha

They absolutely SUCK! for towing. If you tow anything with any considerable amount of tongue weight on a regular basis (for me, a boat @ least once or twice a week), its absolutely miserable. also puts a higher angle on your CV boots. I have noticed some accelerated wear on my boots from this summer's sailing season already. and the longest trip i took with the boat so far has been 100 mi. if you want to tow get the air lift air bags. not sure how to put em on using the LC coils, but man would i like to experiment (seeing as how i have some sitting in the box for the 4runners stock suspension set-up.

ACTUALLY, GOIN TO PICK UP THE SAILBOAT TODAY AFTER WORK. WILL TAKE A PIC BEFORE I HOOK IT UP AND AFTER. PREPARE TO BE AMAZED. ILL GET A PIC OF CV ANGLES BEFORE AND AFTER AS WELL.

However, for offroading i love the LC coils. they ride like a Cadillac on the road too.

Sonoran Steel sells air bags for their kit which has LC coils in the rear

I'm to put on the same spring combo without the body lift. Does you ride have much rake? It doesn't look like it in the pic you posted. I ask because I have a set of 7.5/8 wraps that I could put on instead of the lx450.
